Made this bowl today in the shop. It is 6'' tall and about 8.5" wide. I had an old cedar board just sitting in the shop so I cut it up and made this.

Hi Mike, nice bowl, I bet when you were turning the bowl the shop smelled real good, here in Hawaii that type of Cedar ir rare, I found some that a person was cuting down from next to his house and I turned some of that and it smeels real nice. Great job, aloha.

Beautiful work, Mike. I tried one bowl and had to duck quickly to avoid eating it for supper. When I get my nerve back, I'll have to give it another try. Yours is magnificent. What is the finish? It has a beautiful luster.

For finish I use a 75% to 25% lacquer/thinner combination. I seems to work pretty well and dries fast too.
