First, sorry about the picture, my light box has a dead bulb so I shot it outside. I was given this piece from a trade. the wood came from Canada. it was real punky, so I saturated it with a solution of thinner and a polyresin at 50/50. I waited for 3 weeks to turn it. to my surprise it wasn't quite dry, but turn real well. it's 9x2. hope you all like it.

that's really a nice piece. that wood is super also, never seen anything from horse-chestnut before. great work.
