My dad gave me some old oak flooring from an old movie theater. In between pens over the last 10 days, I made this. It is Oak. It has 24 segments. It started with another 12 segment ring that had paduke inserts. Unfortunatnly, I got it a little thin and had to part it off. It is about 3/8" thick, 7" in diameter and 2.75" tall.

Looks GREAT. I'll have to do some reading on this segmenting thingy and see if I can use up some of the lumber in my shop that I've had there for way to long.

Thanks to all of you for looking and for the comments. I started in bowls and graduated to pens. The segmented bowl was the next step. It should improve my segmented pens (which need alot of help!).
