New to me anyway. A friend's dad passed them on to me as a gift. He is no longer able to turn. Anyone know anything about these?

Shedfield, England tools have been around for well over 100years.
Goggle it and see the history on them.

Crown makes some great HSS tools, and that looks like a dandy set, I like the detail gouge and the Skew looks as if it's never been used, in fact it doesn't look as any of them have seen much if any use. What a great gift !!!

When A friend of mine passed away unexpectedly a few years ago I helped out his widow by buy most of his turning tools & his wood supply. In with the tools was this same set. I do not use them often but they are very well made, hold an edge well & are nice for detail work.
