G'day!
This piece of ebonite was a delight to turn. It revealed a lovely colour similar to buckeye burl a little.
Had a play with adding pearls into the finials. Originally I was wanting to use a smaller pearl on the pen finial bit I got carried away with the hole and ended up too large.
Really happy with the finish, super glossy.
Jowo #6 nib.

Beautiful pen! I really love the almost buckeye-burl like look to it! Great choice on the silver nib.

So, "ebonite"...that is...bowling ball material, right? So it turns well?

Thankyou! Mate it is one of the nicest materials to turn and thread. The only downside, it smells like burning rubber! But I have become oddly fond of the smell as it is a small trade off for the pleasure of turning it.
