Not to be a negative Nancy, but I can't see how that pen ended up showing the cross section of the colored pencil all the way around. Maybe you're just not showing all 4 sides.

It looked to me like those were not pencils but empty tubes, or pencils with no lead.

You're right, when I zoom up I can see how it was done. I stand corrected.
