Just another wine stopper

Nothing great, I just thought I would share it and the story. I just finished this stopper for a neighbor. They have enjoyed their sister and brother-in-law's yacht this summer and wanted to do a little something for them. Since most of the wood on yacht is mahogany they thought it would be nice to have a wine stopper made out of mahogany to give to them. To make it a little extra special, they went to a shipyard and got some mahogany stairwell casing to use for the stopper.

Nice stopper. I like that the wood for it also came from a boat. I also like holder as it nicely shows off the stopper. Where did you find the stand?

I used CA on that one, but have have normally used Enduro. The mahogany is rather soft and that was my thinking on using the CA.

The stand was from Arizona Silhouette - bottom of the page. $2.95 each.
