Jewelry Box (Bowl)

Still very new to bowl turning, but starting to figure some things out. Made this for Christmas. Maple I picked up at a cheap sale price... wish i would have gotten more!

Nicely done. One good thing about doing bowls is you don't need to buy wood. I've gotten wood from trees being cut down, branches being cut, firewood piles (mine and my neighbors), the town trimming trees, large bushes being removed and even just wood I found driving down the street. There are many sources for free wood.
