I love the Beall buffing system. One problem occurs when you buff the ends of pen blanks. Why buff them? People will need to replace the ink cartridge and then the see it. With seam rippers it is even more important as they see the ends every time they use them. The problem is that the wheel turns black.
I repurposed the smaller "used" wheels as "metal only" wheels and installed new wheels for my pens and seam rippers. If the smaller, older metal only wheels turn black so be it.
Cut new pvc spacers to 3" instead of the stock 4" and you are all set.
