Bowl measures 4-1/2" Diameter x 2-1/4" Deep with 1/8" Wall Thickness throughout. I keep making the walls thinner and thinner.
Finished with 6 coats of Minwax Satin Wipe-On-Poly and polished with Hut Ultra Gloss.

Very Nice!

Just saw this on PP and thought what an awesome finish! Have to say I normally like oil finish for bowls, but the gloss really works on this one!

sweet, i done a one day bowl turning course 2 weeks ago and it was great fun, learned a lot. Bowls are a doddle aren't they :biggrin::biggrin:

How did you keep from crushing the foot when you were holding it in the chuck? Was is long enough that you could turn off the marked part?

Look at the pic with the donut chuck. You can "clean" the foot that way and remove any chuck teeth marks.

Ah, just reduce the diameter of the foot, duh! Don't know why I didn't think of that.
