I've had my backer plate for almost 2 months but it's been too cold out in the shop to try it but this weekend I gave it a try. Nothing fancy. Beads are from Hobby Lobby and the cord is a "waxed" string. I finished it with tung oil but I don't really like it so the next one will get a spray lacquer finish.
