G'day!
Me again. Thought I'd share my latest timber pen. I don't do as many of these as I do resin (they take 3 times longer).
This amazing amboyna burl needed to highlight the pen. No clips, no rollstops, no added materials. Just a super glossy fancy looking stick!!
M13x.8 triple start threads, Jowo #6 1.1 2 tone stub nib.
Section is made from Nikko ebonite, and the entire insides of the pen are lined with ebonite also. 2 reasons, to support the timber and to ensure that it is air tight, so the nib doesn't dry out. Also ebonite threads are the best. Super smooth.
Pretty happy with this one. She weighs 46 grams, 142 mm capped (a biggun), 138 mm uncapped. Can't sell this one. Into my collection!
Thanks for looking.
Casey.

I think this may be my favorite pen that I have seen on this site. I am an absolute sucker for amboyna and that is a prime piece of it. Well done!

Any chance you would tell me what you're using for the decorative ring on the top of the section? That's a beautiful touch on a beautiful pen.
