I'm about to start my first Majestic from PSI using an Ancient Mars blank I bought from Exotic. I haven't touched anything. Before I start, is there anything I should know about the Majestic that isn't included in the directions? Thank you for your help. Regards, t.

OK, so I bought a Majestic pen from Rockler, and the Ti center band is loose. I mean, it spins freely around the chrome looking part (or whatever plating it really is). Does the centerband itself come apart? I came as one metal piece, so I don't see where it could be a matter of it not being...

I believe this is my absolute favorite so far. My first time turning this wood (Masur Birch from Finland), and I have to say, I love it. Beautiful curls and quilts as well as an unbelievable grain pattern. As always, comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.
