I've been working through a pretty major refresh of the 2nd Amendment Pen Blank collection and finally have it to the point where I'm happy with the overall look.
A lot of these designs have been around for years, and while several have continued to sell well, the artwork, product photos, and listings had gotten pretty inconsistent over time.
Rather than completely reinvent everything, I went back through the collection and cleaned it up from top to bottom.
Some of the changes include:
- Refreshed and enhanced label artwork
- New resin blank product images
- A much more consistent look across the collection
- New Bolt Action and Classic Sierra mockups
- Cleaner product titles and descriptions
- Bolt Action and Sierra options added consistently where they make sense
- Better images showing what the finished pens can actually look like
Some of the older designs that received updates include the Continental Soldier, Thomas Jefferson, Kneeling Minuteman, Betsy Ross Flag, Gadsden Snake, the parchment-style 2nd Amendment design, and several others.
The biggest goal was really consistency. I wanted someone looking through the collection to feel like these were all part of the same product line instead of listings that had been created at different times over the years.
I also tried to improve the artwork without losing the character of the original designs that people have been buying.
I'd be interested in hearing what everyone thinks of the refresh, especially the updated artwork and the new finished-pen mockups.
