I am waiting for some pms back from members for more information. I gave them until Monday night to reply back. So if anyone else wants to join in please pm your full name, address and phone # to me.

I plan on having the list completed and posted by Tuesday Night

PM's are being sent to everyone tonight. Please contact the person you are sending to and find out what they are capable of doing.

Is the person we contact also the one that will send to us?
Good question as I received an e-mail from someone other than who I was told was my partner. I was under the impression it would be a direct swap, maybe I misunderstood.

Dale,

Received my pm from you and phoned my swap RichF in the States, we have agreed on intention and purpose glad to meet him and ideas are flowing and gelling.

I have sent you by reply my up to dates and thankyou but repeat them here.

I enjoy swapping directly as in this case no confusion here.

Kind regards Peter.

Now that just got confusing and complicated. A direct swap is how it sounded in the original posting. Anyway you could post the swap exchanges to try to clear things up?

I am not confused but maybe I should be.

Here is how I understand it

I send materials to a person they make a pen and it comes back to me. Someone sends me materials and I make a pen. I then mail that pen back to them.

A lot like the last Pith. I sent a pen to the person above me on the list. The person below me sent me a pen.

Am I right?

A good mix to give us exposure to more members. A great idea.

So.... For the name and address that was PM'd to me, I send that person the parts and pieces and that person sends me a completed pen back. Someone else sends me parts and pieces, and I send that someone else a pen back. Got it!

This will be fun. Thanks so much for stepping up and coordinating this Dale.

Ahhhhh.....sometimes the challenge lies in the abundance.....

The bag - metal cut offs. Aluminum, brass, copper. Some solid, some hollow, some round, some not.....

Question. Do you have to use a sample of everything sent to you? Looking at the picture above and how much was included, not sure how practical the end result would be?

With my box 'o' stuff, I included some direction to use what he wanted to, save what he needed for some of his other projects, and scrap anything he didn't want. There might have been a little extra packing material in there too, just to fill up the box so it wouldn't rattle so much in shipping.

Just pick and choose whatever you want to use from the box. Keep or toss the leftovers as you wish. I just figured I'd toss in a few odd things to make it interesting.
