Not the best photo, but making the pen was interesting.
Zebra Wood and Walnut with Aluminum segments. It worked out well but I'm wondering what is the best way to glue Al to wood?? I just used a medium CA glue - is there a better option?

Thanks and comments always appreciated!

Well done! First two pictures of pens you show us - worthless wood and segmenting -methinks you've jumped in with both feet (or have been turning pens for a while before joining our esteemed forum).

CA or epoxy. Just roughen the aluminum a bit with some sandpaper to give the glue something to bite into -- and clamp it.

Thank you! It's a little of both - was turning for about a year before joining the forum, but I'm still a newbie with the pen hobby.
