As my move date (from CO to CA) approaches, I'm in a bind. I haven't been able to sell the Explorer.
So it looks like I'll need to keep the Explorer as well as the Saab. That means instead of renting a big truck, I need to rent a smaller box trailer for the Explorer to pull.
Or not.
U-Haul doesn't rent trailers to Explorer owners! Apparently early on in the SUV craze, clueless people who thought their Explorers could do everything had self-imposed problems and sued U-Haul. U-Haul, in response, stopped dealing with Explorer owners. Even though today those self-imposed problem people now own other SUVs, U-Haul still won't rent to me. But they'll rent to those guys/gals.
For crying out loud. Now I may be renting a truck, towing the Saab, and having the wife drive the Explorer. Insane.
