Can anyone help me ID this wood. Very distrint green and white grain. Hopefully pic is enough for you gurus to see the details

Heavier than a similar size blank of kingwood and indolent call it soft. Here's another vantage point

Is it really dense? Does it sink in water? If so then I would also go with Argentine Lignum viatae, also called verawood. Here is a link verawood. Several photos look very similar to your piece
