Wood identification help

Can anyone help me ID this wood. Very distrint green and white grain. Hopefully pic is enough for you gurus to see the details

Is it soft and light weighted? If so, possibly yellow poplar.

Heavier than a similar size blank of kingwood and indolent call it soft. Here's another vantage point

Is it really dense? Does it sink in water? If so then I would also go with Argentine Lignum viatae, also called verawood. Here is a link verawood. Several photos look very similar to your piece

I have seen some green heart show lately, also. Looks similar to some of that which I just cut up.
