No challenge, John........I'm sure everyone has a drawerful of off-cuts that they are unwilling to part with. I thought that I would start using them up.Very nice blanks! Do we understand this to be a challenge to the members?
That's right Mark.......all useful...........and my pile doesnt show what's in the drawers.The process of thinning out materials can lead to new designs, new thoughts of how to use small cutoffs, small end caps. I rarely threw away any scrap, (not used) potential segmenting materials - they were gold!

I should call them off-cuts rather than scraps as most will be used as some stage.......now I have to live another 50 years!!!I haven't made many pens recently, but was in the shop yesterday thinking I've got to clean up all these scraps!
