I don't know if the Sears is the same thing as the Beall -- Beall claims to be the inventor of the one he sells.The Sear Craftsman "Router Crafter" is one version
Trend (in the UK) also sold it. I don't think they sell them anymore, but you used to be able to find a manual on their site.
I have a printed copy of the manual somewhere...I also have 2 of the units.

I think I would be hard pressed to turn a pen on a router crafter - much too big! Penguin have you tried it oin the router crafter? I have mad a lot of spindles on mine but never anything that small!
