but my execution fell short. I tried to make a thin blue line set of blanks by doing three separate pours. My block warped and my line became a curve. Additionally my line was a little too thick. I like the colors and think the blank and gun metal kit go well together.

I think you are being a bit too hard on yourself.

"Thin Blue Line" as I understand it does not have a set format... Whatever is a commendable honor is probably acceptable, and welcomed!

AND, your blank is GREAT! Nice effort Cody!

Terrific Pen, Cody,
I agree with Mark, you are being a "Bit Hard on Yourself".
I think The blank is Excellent, I rather like the angled Blue Line.
The Police Force, as with most things in Life is not always "Straight Forward".
As such they have to accommodate situations, "Off the Beaten Track'.
Therefore the "Off Set Line" is most appropriate.
Excellent choice of Pen to display your Blank.
Terrific Fit and Finish,
A Superb Tribute.
Congratulations,
Brian.

I like it.
It can show that while the line is there, it is also fexiable to the reason of the moment. I think the pen is wonderful.
Any officer worth his salt would be proud to own it.
