I like to vary the tonality in my sets of pens and in this case pencils. Diagonal bocote, Peruvian rosewood and maple burl helped spread the spectrum. The last redwood burl completes this initial offering of this kind of pencil. CA finish as with all of my pens.

WoWser your CA is finish is Deep.

Apply 4 coats of EasyBond thin 5 cps
Spray lightly with Stickfast aerosol
Apply EasyBond thin 50 cps (pen finish)
Spray lightly with Stickfast aerosol
Repeat three more times
Reverse the lathe
Apply EasyBond thin 50 cps (pen finish)
Spray lightly with Stickfast aerosol
Repeat three more times
Possibly give four more coats with lathe forward with spray.
This takes me 5-7 minutes
Let cure for 2hrs to overnight
Sand with 400 grit with lathe spinning and then laterally
Buff of the first two wheels of the Beale buffing system
Examine carefully and repeat buffing if needed

Best of luck with your CA efforts.

Once again your Finish is outstanding. I think your photography, and the long straight lines of the pencils provides a continuous plane to view your finish, and see it along the entire length. Really, really nice.
