I have an Accord Twist pen kit. For some unknown reason, the tube and finished blank are too short! The kit and tube are no longer available that I could find. Here are the tube spec's= diameter 0.368, length 3.50. Checking the supplier list, I find a lot of tubes, 0.368 but the longest is for the wrench kit at 2.50. I could cut, 3-5/8, and drill a blank, 3/8 bit, but was wondering if I could cut and stack two tubes in the blank. I have a stash of extra tubes JIC. My gun club has an arrow trimmer that would be precise and give a smooth finish.
I can't figure out how a blank and tube could be trimmed to 3-1/6 instead of 3.50! Wrong tube in the kit?
Your advice, experience, expertise is most welcome as always.

The tube seems to be 3/8 inch OD. Most all vendors sell 3/8 tubes in 10" lengths. You can cut the length you need.

I too have had good results using two tubes with the joint at tge middle of the blank. Drill. Glue two tubes i serting one from each end. Trim to correct length

The one time I tried it , about 1/4 inch from the end , it broke when I dropped it on plush carpet . Never again , I said ! . In the middle would be better , if the pen is only for your use , but I wouldn`t sell it . Go with Don`s advice , and get a 10 inch tube .
