Spray Booth

I finish my pens and most other small turnings with spray lacquer. I built this spray booth to try and control the over spray, make it easier to handle the items while spraying and give them a dust free environment to dry in.

The upper portion has a circular piece of plywood, with a 1/4" hole drilled in it, mounted on a Lazy Susan. The floor of the lower portion has a bunch of 1/4" holes drilled in it.

The "holders" were turned from pen blanks and have a tapered end, with a 1/4" tenon on the other end.

As an added bonus I know have got another shelf to store cans of finish and bottles of glue :biggrin:

Great idea, I was wondering why you didnt put a door on it so dust couldnt get to them while they dry?

Tim, the board is a plastic cutting board. I use it for my glue ups. Every now and then I run it through my planer to clean it up. That's why it looks all clean and shiney at the moment.

Four or five days. We have the heat here in Florida, but it sure isn't a dry heat
