Imagine my surprise when I opened the mail box and found this unexpected blank on a tube for artist/shop pencil from Jeff (workinforwood). I am guessing that Jeff sent it because of some steel pilots I turned for him on my metal lathe, or he just put the wrong address on the box. If it was the wrong address, tough luck now, I am keeping it. And keep an eye on your mailbox buddy, LOL. Forgive my photography skills, they are poor. It looks overturned at the top and underturned at the bottom, but that is an illusion or reflection on the ca finish I did. The fish and water theme really made it for this old fisherman. Thanks Jeff.

Those are optical illusion style Chris. You cut it out and glue it to the tube. Then you paint the tube and the walls with nail polish. You cast it clear. It's a strange effect...in some views it can appear a solid color, from some directions it looks deep like there is not clear acrylic there at all but when you touch it there is no grooves.
