So for the summer i installed a window air conditioner and it worked great. Now for the winter... my shop is small at 12x16. any ideas how i can keep it warm all winter?
Turn off the air conditioner.
I'm looking at one of these http://www.leevalley.com/US/wood/page.aspx?p=44590&cat=1,43456,43465,44590
I'm also looking at putting a ceiling in as well .

My shop is also 12x16, but not insulated. I use a Kerosun kerosene heater and it works o.k. except on some of the very coldest days. Here in Atlanta, it will go down into the teens and on those real cold days I stay in the house and browse my wood
working catalogs and wish books.

You could if you wanted too, it would be similar to and just as safe as having a light bulb on only much hotter but you probably wouldn't need to!can you leave it run all the time? the heater, not your tuckus...
