That was exactly the same question I had too...and yes, it does cut clean, using a 20,000 rpm rotary tool with two carbide cutters. After the rose engine work, all I'm doing is applying sanding sealer and buffing. Whatever sanding is needed on the piece must be done before the RE work. And you have to be a little careful using the Tripoli...if the buff is charged up too much, the stuff will get down into all the little nooks and crannies, and it's a booger to get out.
