Sharpening Forsner Bits

Okay, I don't use Forsner bits for making pens, but they are very helpful in turning birdhouse ornaments.

Has anyone out there had any luck sharpening them?

I use a small paddle from woodcraft. I think it is diamond stone. Only takes a minute to sharpen one. I have a cheap set of home depot forstners that work well when sharp but seem to dull easily.
