Started learning how the wood dye process work on different woods .
Firstt red one , Red Oak segmented and Green one Liquid Amber timbers.. Red one was just using Red dye first ,sanding off and then applying final Red dye. With the green one started with Blue dye, sanded off and used green resulting a Jade tone. Both were finished with a clear coat. The process for me was a very interesting project and will do more in the future. Hope to use some dye process in pen making.
Segmented bowl is Mahogany with Maple nfill with will have a clear coat finish.
Will apply dye process in pen blanks soon, like the results so far.
