of these I made last summer for a special order that never got paid for.... I had a pair on my website from Mimosa wood and a lady wanted to order a set for her and husband/fiance... she wanted 10. I quoted a price, sent an invoice and never heard from her again, but started them anyway. I finished turning them and sent reminders for payment before I completed the finish on the goblets... she had asked that they be engraved with a date and their names... still nothing, so I've finished them with a poly finish on the outside and a plexiglas finish on the inside and put them up on my website...

I had a little movement in the woods, so come of them aren't totally round still, but I think they looked okay. I didn't show all of them, just a sampling so you could see the wood coloring.

What do you think? Pros and cons?

Beautiful! I love drinking wine from wooden goblets. Much nicer, warmer feel to it.

Nicely done!
