Does anyone have a list of pen kits and suppliers who carry kits with Schmidt mechanisms? I have found a few here and there, but not sure if such a list exists.
Thank you!
These premium pen kits are manufactured in the US from solid stainless steel. Each kit includes Schmidt ink refills or converters. Ball point Pens (Liberty/Coyote) - Schmidt 900m Parker Style RefillRollerball Pens (Desire/Eagle/Raven) - Schmidt 5888 Ceramic Rollerball Fountain Pens...
Schmidt has some click and some twist and click mechanisms. The kits I'm familiar with include:
Groove Click
Anvil EDC Click
Big Ben EDC Click
Slimline Pro EDC Click
DuraClick EDC
DuraClick Slim EDC
Everyday Classic Click
Sierra Super Button Click
Kole EDC Click
Saxa EDC Click
SPW Pioneer Click (Smitty's Pen Works)
I realized this thread has some age on it, but wanted to post a little assembly tip:
I was sitting in church yesterday, taking notes with my Anvil EDC pen, and I noticed that the tip of the refill was not retracting fully when I clicked it.
I took it apart when I got it home and found that the brass Schmidt click mechanism had backed out of the cap assembly. I put a tiny drop of locktite on it and screwed it back in. That should keep it from doing that again.
I also put a small drop of locktite on the screw that holds the clip to the cap assembly.
