I'm not much into the Standard style of peppermills... I prefer the crush/grind because they are a little more forgiving on sizes and leave a lot more room for creative designs.. but had these two little pieces of Aussie Myrtle Burl and one was just nearly big enough for a 6" standard peppermill... wound up having to add a little length in walnut to make it work.
Finish is a Wipe on Poly.

Very nice! I think the walnut accents add to the appearance.
