It's been a while since last post. I've been experimenting with cheap Chinese laser engraver to achieve Maki-e like finish without Urush lacquer. I think it came out pretty good. Thanks for looking and c&c welcome. - Yoshi

Thank you all for kind words!
Pen-Archer, the rotary attachment won't fit on my laser. I arranged flowers within 7-8 mm to minimize distortion. You don't need rotary attachment within that range.

Very nice pen!! Beautiful traditional lines and the Sakura are just like the blossoms in front of me now at the Izukogen Sakura Matsuri....:wink:
