It's been a while since last post. I've been experimenting with cheap Chinese laser engraver to achieve Maki-e like finish without Urush lacquer. I think it came out pretty good. Thanks for looking and c&c welcome. - Yoshi

That's beautiful, the shape, color and engraving all compliment each other perfectly.

Thanks for sharing Yoshi! Very beautiful work and it seems like a high level of skill is involved. Great job.

A Glorious Pen, Yoshi.
Beautiful Blank, enhanced with Subtle Laser engraving.
Gorgeous Profile, Proportions & Lines.
Superb Fit and Finish.
A pleasure to see a Kit less Pen, where the Profile both closed and posted are equally brilliant.
Congratulations.
Brian.

Thank you all for kind words!
Pen-Archer, the rotary attachment won't fit on my laser. I arranged flowers within 7-8 mm to minimize distortion. You don't need rotary attachment within that range.
