Yeah, the picture needs a little work, but the forum can also help with that.

Pens look great for first runs. Heck, even for someone who's already turned a few.

Nice array of woods and antler.

Is the second from the bottom inlayed with stone?

Oh, and you know some people have turned polymer clay pens... *hint hint*

Just have to finish them with something that'll keep the oil in your hands from making the polymer 'sticky' over time.

Yes Skye, you can barely see the turquoise inly but it's there. BTW I have made pens from polymer clay, didn't like the results. I make jewelry and other things with the clay.

I havent seen any I was in love with either, but how about a centerband made from fimo on an acrylic pen? If your one of those crazy gals that makes all the complex paterns in clay, you may be able to pull something off.
