Well some days you just can't win---The wood is Ebony and the inlay is Sambar----it started out nice and white but when I turned it. Heck you can see what happened. I am doing the inlays by hand and not useing a jig. To much work to toss in the trash.

Charles ----I will post something later today and show you how I cut the material for the inlay. I am trying to get a table and two benchs built but the pen lathe keeps getting in the way.

Bill-- I sell a bunch of Ebony pens----always to woman.
I have never had any trouble working with it outside the fact that is makes a heck of a mess.
