As you've seen the pictures of, I've got a Grizzly G5979 lathe, with broken pulleys. My dad and I pulled the first with a gear puller, but the second one won't budge. We've tried pulling, WD-40ing, hammer & chiseling, blow torching (the grease will catch on fire), drilling, and Dremeling.
We've lost a drill bit, a Dremel attachment, and about four hours. Is there
ANY advice you can give? this thing won't budge at all. I've looked for disassembly guides, but they all say, "Remove the left and right pulleys..."
Thanks,
Ryan
By the way, the pulleys are the ones that move with the speed shifting lever, not those that move from the motor alone.
