I have a few canes and pool cues with small nicks that are bothering me. They can be steamed out. If you have been doing this what is your technique? Do you use an iron, soldering pen, etc? Thanks, Frank

I have used a damp towel with an iron. I lay the damp towel on the wood, then carefully apply the iron to the towel for several seconds. I check to see if the nick is still there, and if so, I repeat the process until the nick is gone.

Ok thanks. I will experiment on scrap. I'm kicking around a small travel iron or a mini
iron
