Hello all,
I hope this is the right place to ask this.
I attached the clip to the wrong side of a streamline pen. I tried to tap it out with a screw driver etc with no luck. It's in there tight.
Any suggestions on how to remove it, or just write it off as the price of not staying focused?
Thanks for any input.

The Streamline kits I have use a 7mm tube, so a 15/64" punch (or in a pinch a piece of 1/4" threaded rod / ready bolt) should work nicely as a removal punch. You will have to grip the piece tightly by putting it inside a piece of tubing or by wrapping it up with a bunch of layers of tape and holding it in a vise or vise-grip type pliers and then tapping on the punch with a hammer to knock it out.

These are the pen disassembly tools that I use:

Soft Jaw Barrel Gripper
Pen Disassembly Punch Set

Dave

PS You shouldn't even need to press the cap all the way out -- just enough to loosen the clip so you can re-position it and then press the cap back in to re-seat it.

Get a punch kit from Harbor Freight. They are a shop must have.
