PSI lever action help needed

I decided to make a good friend of mine a lever action for Christmas. I got the kit yesterday and opened it last night. Now I gotta wait to make it unless anyone knows a trick to fixing this? It looks like it should be soldered down at the front but there is nothing there that the scope broke off of?

I've never made one of these but if it's broken I'd get a hold of the seller and let them know. Replacement should be an easy thing based on what I'm seeing here.

Just had a quick look at the instructions on their website .... https://www.pennstateind.com/library/PKLEVXX_INS.pdf ....

But the pictures don't show the scope at an angle like in the picture you took.

The Lever Action Pen

I've made about half dozen if them and not 1 has looked like this thing... but I guess we will say it's the clip and i will put it together and see if that fixes it... here is 1 of my finished ones for comparison. I modify the design to make it look more realistic.

Thank you! Unfortunately around here they don't sell all that well. They are "too expensive ". Lol
