Polishing interior of pen

I have recently experimented with turning clear/see through pens. Is there any advice on finishing the interior of the pen so that it too will be clear? I'm currently using a 1/8 inch rod in my dremel with zona sand paper on the end but I'm not having the greatest luck. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'd find a way to attach a piece of cloth then shove a bunch of liquid polish down there and do it that way.

Cut a small slit in the end of the aluminum rod, then you can secure your sandpaper, polishing cloth, etc. I'd recommend using a larger diameter rod (I use 1/4") and chucking the rod up in your lathe

Polishing compounds will not be aggressive enough to remove drill marks
