I bought a MierSet for segments. Cutting segments doesn't get any easier and the results are spot on perfect it's built like a tank. I would highly recommend this tool if you have the need. I should say this is not for segmented pen blanks.

That's clever!

I have an indexing wheel for my lathe, but the smallest step is 2.5 degrees (it has a 3 degree and a 4 degree ring of holes also). With a router sled, it's easy to make faceted barrels with 6, 8, 9, 10, or 12 sides - but I'd really like to have an option for 7 & 14 sides, and maybe 11 too.
