I'm getting low on peppermills at the Museum Market place here in Tellico Plains...so I've made up a few more to take down there.
These are made from blanks I glued up... I take 1 x 3 x 12 inch boards, glue them up in a block about 13 to 14 inches wide, then cut them at an angle starting about 3 inches from the edge at the top and angled to about the 6 inch mark at the bottom... these are all crush grinds, from about 8 1/2 to 10 inches tall. Finish is an abrasive grit, with sanding sealer on top and then multiple coasts of wipe on poly... woods are paduak, cocobolo, black limba, aspen, maple, red grandis, amd marb;ewppd. I think I got them all.
