I posted this in Skiprat's thread but decided I would post it in its own message in case someone did not read his...

A good way to make a one time use, custom size mold is to make it out of cardboard and tape. Then once the blank has been cast you simply cut the cardboard off with a bandsaw or turn it off on the lathe. Here is a picture of one I did:

Of course then there is the re-useable molds I make from the white plastic cutting boards...

I am not exactly sure what you are asking. Yes they do sell curved cutting boards but am not sure why you would be asking this for use in mold making. can you enlighten us?
