Playing around with some corian again.
These stoppers all have the same nine colors of corian in each one.

Thanks guys.

I made a display stand for my stoppers this afternoon right after I made the three stoppers shown above. It would hold 44 stoppers but seing as I have only 26 so far, it will double for displaying some other small turned items .

Any tips or hints for glueing up the corian for use as stoppers. Do you sand all the ends, if so on what and what grit. What type of glue do you use.

Thanks

I just use medium CA to glue pieces together . Mating surfaces are sanded flat on my belt sander first.

No actual finish is required for corian like it is for wood. Just sand to 12000 MM followed by either plastic polish or three stage buff or both . It comes up like glass when buffed so I do use that extra step. .

I have 120 grit on the sander at the moment but a little finer or a little coarser won't make a lot of difference. The sanding not only flattens the surface but it also give it some "tooth" for the glue to hold good.
