Newbie help on pendants and stoppers

Hi Guys,
I am brand new to turning. I am starting out with pens, but would like to learn how to make bottle stoppers and pendants. I have a fuzzy idea on the stoppers, but no clue on where to start learning about pendants. Is there a source for instruction on these items?

You can also find it in the library. Go to the 2009 section and it should be towards the top.

To me, it is kinda ironic you want to turn those two items. I use my stopper mandrel to mount my pendant mandrel. Works out nice, and it was convenient, as i already had the bit and tap to match the stopper mandrel.
