I started making pens about 3 years ago and it seems addictive once in your blood. I started woodworking when I was a kid and now at 70++++ feel that I'm in my second childhood. If you ever make it out to columbia, sc theres a pen club meeting at 1pm on the 1st saturday of each month at woodzone (www.woodzone.com for details). Theres also a turning club that meets in Evans, I'm just not sure about any of the details but I can ask around at my next meeting if you'd like.
