Got a catalog from ----- showing their new Orion pen kit. It shows the pen clip to have the nice BLACK shield on the clip. Makes the kit look nice as it coincides with the other black design on the tip area. I ordered two of them and both clips were ALL gold, no black shield as the catalog shows. Got an e-mail promotion with the special 5 sale, and it shows the black shield on the clip. I was going to order 5 more but wanted to make sure I got the black clips. I called about it and the person on the phone said the clips are all gold and no black clip. The black part (the shield) is just a reflection in the picture. Have you ever heard of a reflection being just a shield spot on a clip? Have you heard of a supplier letting a picture in their catalog and the e-mail sales pitch go forward without reviewing the picture first, mis-representing their product. I just wanted to give people an update to ask questions first if the black shield shown makes a difference in your pen kit choice. I ordered 5 of the different kits instead as I like their service, their shipping choice, their selection choices. Just a little, shell I say peaved, on the missing black shield. Personally I think they may have be duped into a sales pitch from their supplier as to what they would recieve, and had never checked the product as this person had to go check their kits to see what I was talking. Another rant I guess. I don't mention names - just coveate -emptor.
