need Exper advise for this logs for pen turning and bowl turning

Hey, guys, to day I went to this lady's house to assess the logs and stumps that I put the picture below. from what I saw in person this was a 70 or 80 yrs old oak tree that got zapped by lightening and died. they choped the tree , now there are these nicley burled and figured oak stumps or trunks that are left. she would let me have it for free. what I like to know that if it is worth tomess with and if you guys think that there are potential for bowl blank and pen blanks. Also how to go about cutting it to mangable size. I some of you guys form up north have a good expereince with this.

Looks pretty tough in my opinion,but I have cut something that looked really bad and ended up being really nice.You want to save those crotch pieces they will yield the best figure,also seal it up as soon as you make fresh cuts.Store the wood in the shade the sun will check wood faster then you think.Good luck and post some pics when you cut it up.Victor
