Charlie-newlondon88 produced some neat items for my upcoming shows. This is hard to photograph because it glows with an eerie blue tint which is bound to attract attention.

Dan.. why would you want one? Your name isn't Alton..

I'll have to check suppliers to see where i can get the LED bars. My supplier
stopped carrying them and I only have one left, it's about 9" long.

Pic is fuzzy, but I used the same font as the logo on the Home page
(7th anniversary) Cool font when the detail holds up. Also making a
display cabinet out of spalted curly maple with an inlay of the same font.
Did one with mahogany, but when it was oiled the maple went very dark
so we had little/no contrast. But that font held up nice! Did it again with
a much darker wood, Alton is probably gluing it up now.

hmm .. maybe I should get on the stick!

.. but your name isn't Alton, either. What's with all the people wanting Alton signs?

I just had two suppliers get back to me on the bases. One wants
100 piece minimum, so that's pretty much out for me. But the
other will do a 20 pc. minimum of each size/color. Is there enough
interest for me to take it further?

I might be interested but I would prefer to have my name on it!
What kind of price are you looking at?
Does this run on 110V or batteries?

ballpark pricing? would it cost more to get my name on it? Can Alton make enough pens for all of us to sell?

I've been talking to someone about having 18" bases made and they'd
come out to $45 including the power supply. So they'll be ready to plug
in and go. They're 5v, but run on a 110v power unit. But that doesn't
include the sign. Figure something in the $20-25 range, depending on the
artwork or custom cutting (shapes, etc.) I've looked online and a typical
18x12 goes for $125 to $300 depending on where you go. So obviously,
this price would only be for IAP. If I were making them retail I'd probably
be in the middle of those numbers.
But there's still a minimum. Take about a week to 10 days to get to you.

And I'll even use YOUR name.
